Keeping up with maintenance is like going to the doctor: it will allow you to detect small issues before they become major problems which might lead to poor performance at best, or at worst, a mechanical break down. Regardless if your Infiniti repair, inspection or service is under warranty or not, adhering to the factory’s scheduled maintenance is key to ensuring it’s reliable going forward.
When that time comes, Coho has everything you need to keep your vehicle running at peak performance. Our Infiniti-certified technicians have the tools, equipment and access to an extensive range of parts to protect your investment for years to come – while saving you hundreds of dollars compared to a dealer.
Following the factory’s scheduled maintenance intervals is also a great way to ensure your car or SUV delivers all the performance you expect. Infiniti recommends that its vehicles be serviced at regular intervals. Depending on your driving habits, you should follow one of the three maintenance schedules listed in the owner’s manual; i.e., Premium Maintenance, Schedule 1, and Schedule 2.
Premium Maintenance
This should be scheduled every 3,750 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. This is an Infiniti-recommended option that was developed for owners who want the ultimate in preventative maintenance since it optimizes the performance, durability, reliability, and resale value of your vehicle. With this schedule, more maintenance items are checked or replaced than with the other schedules.
Schedule 1 (Severe Operating Conditions)
Every 3,750 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. Use this schedule if you primarily operate your vehicle under any of these conditions:
Schedule 2 (Less Severe Operating Conditions)
Every 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first. This service applies only to highway driving in temperate conditions and as a result, fewer maintenance items are regularly checked or replaced than Schedule 1.
For the Washington, DC metropolitan area, we recommend either the Premium Maintenance or Schedule 1 service, which are more comprehensive and cover a wider range of parts to examine or replace when compared with the Schedule 2 maintenance plan. Please give us a call if you have any specific questions about the actual scheduled maintenance checks for your Infiniti.
